Actually, I have that option enabled and it works fine as long as the 
number you are entering is not a unique channel.   If you wanted to jump 
say 99 minutes ahead and didn't have channel 991, 992, etc., then you 
would probably not get the chance to hit the jump button before the 
autochange kicked in.

So basically, it works, but the immediate change will probably take 
precedence in cases where they overlap.
