[mythtv] Recording playback problem

Hi,

I'm running mythtv-0.16 -- unlike previous versions, this one has an
annoying problem:

When I go to watch a recording while it is being recorded, and if I seek to
the end of the file, playback exits (rather than following the end of the
file).

Also, and somewhat related:  when a recording time rolls around, and MythTV
switches from Live TV to recording, it gets into a strange playback loop,
where it plays up to what has been recorded so far, then goes back to the
beginning.  What I have to do is exit playback, go into "watch recordings",
select the recording, seek to the end of the file, then back up 50 seconds
(10 backspaces).

Anyway, not sure if anyone has reported this problem, it could be unique to
my installation...
