I did not find this bug while searching the archives. If it's already
known, sorry for repeating.
It's my understanding that a channel specific outputfilter should work
on recorded playback as well as live tv.
I found a bug in "live tv". If "live tv" starts on the channel with
the outputfilter, then all channels will have the outputfilter applied
as you change channels. If "live tv" starts on another channel, without
the outputfilter, then the outputfilter will never be applied.
I'm running mythtv 0.16 on Gentoo. You can recreate the problem as follows:
1. For a single channel, assign the outputfilter "invert". Leave all
other channels' outputfilter blank.
2. Begin watching live tv. Assuming "live tv" starts on one of the
channels without any outputfilter, surf to the channel with the "invert"
filter. You will see that "invert" is not applied.
3. Exit "live tv" on the channel that has the "invert" filter.
4. Begin watching live tv. Now the channel is inverted. Surf to other
channels, they will also be inverted.
