FWIW, I can't use 1.0.6a on my desktop machine's SB Live 5.1 through
S/PDIF because the sound stutters non-stop.  1.0.5 works just fine.
I'm wondering what the alsa guys broke in the interim, and more
importantly, why I can't find *anything* about this problem through
Google.  I can't be the only person having these issues.
