[mythtv] Problem changing HDTV channels in current cvs

Running the current CVS in live TV mode, the frontend aborts on an assertion when changing channels, most often to one of the many KQED subchannels here.  Starting liveTV on the same channel works fine.

Below are the concluding parts of some logs (produced with mythback/frontend -v playback,record,channel >log 2>&1)

HD-2000 (haven't installed the 3000 yet). Please let me know if other information would be helpful.
