Yeah this makes sense.. I have seen other reports of this, and it makes more
sense why the backend is crashing now.. I never get it to crash for me, but I
didn't factor in dvb_on_demand..

Why dont you try using the mythscan2 app thats included in the patchset and see
if it provides you good quality data.. The more reports I get on this guide
data the faster I can get it integrated into Myth.. Its not too hard to setup
mythscan2. It much like tv_grab_dvb requires full control of the card, but it
is calling code that is part of myth, so the end intent is to get the
funtionality all built in and have no external guide requirements..
