Great. Im guessing that for some shows that would be the case. I
personally like it on the same buttons. Nice feature.

the trouble is the most usable options are in 5% increments up to 1.5.
sometimes only 1.15 is acceptable for understandability. sometimes 1.40
is ok. at least with 5% incs in this important range you can fine tune
it.
In the long run it may be better to have a separate control which sets
the timestretch factor and leave the speed controls to handle
fastforward as per normal. this is what windvd does. however I dont want
to break the existing controls which is why I piggy backed onto this
functionality.
