the Tribune company stores their data. They appear to have a program
table and a channel table and then use a schedule table which place a
program on a channel at specified time. If anyone's looked at the
labs.zap2it.com data, it even includes the unique program and channel

I keep hoping somebody will pick up the ball on the labs.zap2it.com
data and run with it. Their data includes lots of useful information
like episode numbers (ideal duplicate detecion) and credits (actor and
director searches).
