It's definitely weird.  If you're still not ok with it, I think a link
to the FSF, OSDN, etc would at least be a good alternative.

I think I'm personally in the same boat with Isaac on the gifting thing,
though.  As much as I'd love it if someone gave me a pvr-250 (only think
I can think of that would be on my wish list and related to mythtv
stuff), I don't think I've been putting enough work into
mythweb/nuvexport lately to deserve it (and since I have a nice job and
apparently too much contract work on the side, giving to Isaac would be
a better idea, anyway)
