[mythtv] mythbackend problems with 0.15.1

I made some gdb traces and such.  Everything is in 
http://hattenator.dyndns.org/mythtv/ .  There is some extra info in case 
you want to know what I compiled with.  If you need any more info, let 
me know.

After finishing recording (Switching from RecordingOnly to None), the 
backend enters a loop where the frontend cannot connect to it to get the 
video database, or create new recording schedules.  It does not crash, 
though.

The backend crashed with sigPIPE, which was odd, because it didn't start 
doing this until I ran it with gdb. 


I modified fifowriter.* to get it to compile with g++ 3.4, but I do not 
yet know how to generate a patch. 

RTJpeg I had to manually compile with -fpermissive (I couldn't quite 
figure out how to send -fpermissive to CXXFLAGS in debug mode). 

You can safely ignore bt.txt, its before I had debugging symbols in. 

Let me know if there's more info you would want.  I have been busy at 
work and such, so it may take me some time to generate new info, but I 
will try.  I am using a regular bttv card with no hardware MPEG.
