[mythtv] Trouble switching between dvb cards

Hi, I have been trying to fix this issue for the last few days but
haven't made any progress. Hopefully some of you who have a similar
setup can point me in the right direction.
I have 2 dvb cards in my mythtv pc, one dvb-t (DVICO FusionHDTV) and one
dvb-s (Nexus-s).
They both work fine in mythtv, but I cannot figure out how to get mythtv
to switch between them, to go from a dvb-t channel to a dvb-s channel. I
have searched the lists but haven't came across anything similar to my
problem. I am using gentoo and switched to the cvs version a few days
ago. Here are some of my logs:
This is the backend log when trying to go from dvb-t channel (channel 5
using DVB#0) to dvb-s channel (channel 1 using DVB#1)

Backend log when watching dvb-t channel and hitting c, this causes the
backend to quit, with Killed as the final terminal ouput, and leaves the
frontend hanging.

The channel data should be ok as each card works individually in mythtv.
I have looked through the database with phpmyadmin and all the settings
look ok.
I hope someone knows something about this. It is my last hurdle to get
over. Both cards work fine together, I have had dvbstream streaming both
cards at once.
