[mythtv] Adding some outer quick info to channel browse OSD feature

Hi,

thanks for great program. I particularly like channel browsing (if that's
the right word for feature where I can see what's on other channels through
OSD screens while watching TV).

Since I'm running also some other programs on my house server I'd like to
add some other info (last news, short weather forecast, maybe some status
infor from automation system). I know I can display OSD messages from
outside program, but would like to do it with remote. Maybe we could make
also some simple menuing system. Yet better would be the possibility to
overlay outputs from other mythtv plugins to live TV screen...

Maybe there is some easy way to do this already ?
