makes sense.  I rebuilt without directfb and will test when I get home.

I'm not using Axel's packages - just his spec file.

On the other hand, it's a good thing that this was discovered (packages
need prerelease testing, too), because now when .14 is released, the
rpm's probably won't have directfb enabled (Axel, could you please make
your without-directfb option into something like with-directfb so it
defaults to the more compatible/most used form?) and we won't get
flooded with complaints from users who upgrade to the "stable" version
and have this problem.
