In the UK we have some data transmitted along side FM radio (don't know if 
it's an international thing - I suspect it is).  There's RDS which gives 
you simple stuff like station name, tells you if another station in the 
area is transmitting traffic information (usually abused by the channels 
to give you 5 minutes of rubbish after the traffic information finishes), 
etc.  Then there's RadioText which gives you information about the current 
program.  But I've got no idea if any TV cards that support radio provide 
access to that data.
