[mythtv] /dev/nvidia0

i read in the user archive that mythtv tries to sync with /dev/nvidia0.

My situation is, I have 2 nvidia cards in one box, one agp gf fx5200 
(dualhead) for the normal X desktop env.
And a second gf mx440 with just the tv-out hookup to my tv screen.
(I have 2 X servers running on the box , one with KDE on tty7, other with 
mythv on tty8)

But if i have 2 gf cards, there is a  /dev/nvidia0 and a /dev/nvidia1
does mythtv know wich one to sync with?  (for me; i have no idea if the 
nvidia0 is for the mx440 with the tvout).

Reason i asked this is because i have jerky  / skippy video with horizontal 
movement.

I have :
the 4369 driver installed,
jitter reduction on.
he experimantal a/v sync seems to make it worse.
2.4.24-ck1 with bttv 0.7.108 with 4 buffers.

on a athlon 2800+ 512MB and kt400 chipset (a7vx-x)

lspci says this about the videocards& tvcard:
