If you use libxine from within a Myth plugin you're going to run into 
problems.  I went down that road already when I did the video playback 
plugin stuff and hit a wall.  If you can track down and solve the 
problems I'd LOVE to hear it.  I've got a fully functional video/DVD 
playback plugin based on Xine that breaks as soon as it's loaded from Myth.
