[mythtv] latest cvs mythtv can't connect to database

I've been looking into this, too.  I've been running myth since .12 or 
so, and just had this same problem.  It looks like it's a bug in 
Gentoo's packaging of either mysql or QT, so post a bug with them.  As 
far as I can tell, it's got nothing at all to do with Myth.
