I'm having a recurring problem with mythtv that appeared in 0.16 as well
as CVS, which I am using now, on the amd64 platform. I have it compiled
and installed just fine. This is running debian-amd64 with kernel
2.6.9-9-amd64-k8 provided by Debian.

The problem is that mythtv will work fine for a while and record a few
shows to completion. Then it'll stop recording shows altogether even
though it has them scheduled to be recorded.

Also the mythweb interface stops working nad gives errors like the

Unable to connect to mythbackend, is it running?

The system administrator has been notified and the problem will be
remedied shortly.

Now mythbackend is still running. If I kill it and run it again, mythtv
works for a little while before doing the same thing.

I haven't seen any errors in the mythbackend log either. The following
is some of the last lines recorded to the log last night.
