Can you please give some more guidance here?  Why is what's in this patch 
highly different that what will go into CVS eventually?  Is someone else 
working on the datadirect functionality? If there's something wrong with the 
approach I took, please let me know what it is, otherwise I won't be able to 
repair it.

I was intending for this patch to put some core functionality in that I could 
expand upon, such as searching by genres/categories, actors/roles, 
potentially even trying to create scheduling entries by these items as well, 
so that whenever a "crime" or "medical" or "crime AND medical" show was on 
that it would record.  Without this patch going in, I don't have anything to 
base future work on.  Just need some direction here...
