I'm not aware of any changes to that code (I wrote it  and I don't know of 
anyone else doing work on it).  Having said that I haven't checked out 
from CVS for a couple of weeks and I'm not at home this weekend (I expect 
I'll check out next weekend some time since that's when I'm likley to have 
time).

I get this on certain videos, as of the CVS version a couple of weeks ago.  
Never thought to turn off the "Video Timebase" option and try it since the 
videos also crashed mplayer.  Mplayer dies with a segfault on the affected 
videos and mythfrontend just hangs and sucks up all the CPU :(

FWIW, I use an Athlon XP 1900+ and MX440 VGA card.
