Indeed, it no longer crashes.  Cool..  Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is still a problem in the PiP code.  To show the problem:

        - enter live-tv
        - hit 'v' to turn on PiP
        - hit 'n' to swap channels
        - hit 'b' to change the active channel
        'n' will no longer work until you exit PiP ('v', then 'v')
