[mythtv] Live TV locks up

The mythbackend processes are still out there and seem to be running
fine. 

Is there a trick to getting the backend also to run in GDB? I attempted
to earlier but some error, which error exactly escapes me at the moment.
I'm just running it normal now with the frontend in GDB.
