I'm using blank+scene too but, what would the detection method have to 
do with locking up while editing the cutlist or immediately after 
exiting edit mode.  The markers should be the same no matter what 
method of detection is used, correct?  I think it might happen after 
attempting to edit the last cut point, usually at the end of the 
recording.
