You might try it if it's easy, but unless Isaac is seeing the same crashes
(he's on 3.2, I believe), I don't think it'll help.  Seeing that crash from
inside QString reminded me of those bugs, though.  I suppose it's _possible_
that there are new bugs, but it seems unlikely.

There could be some memory corruption going on elsewhere which is resulting
in that crash at a later time.  I don't know if mythtv runs under valgrind
right now, but it'd be worth a try.  It has the advantage of being able to
stop the program exactly where the error is.
