Let me know if the patch helps or not.  Always nice to know first-hand that
your work benefited someone else. :)

For what it's worth, I'm also running Mandrake, and I had the most luck
driver-wise with using the Debian driver from pchdtv; it seemed the most
"generic", and it compiled without a problem.  However, I have not had much
success using another card in the machine at the same time.  If I put my
second card in, the pcHDTV card itself seemed functional but the other card
didn't seem very happy.  I haven't played with it much since then; figured
I'd get one card working well and then go back to that problem.  From what
I've seen on pcHDTV's site it's a known problem, although I don't know if
they've figured out why yet.
