Since you suggest that I implement overrides, I assume that nobody else has 
implemented it yet?

The most recent time I see overrides discussed on this list was in early 
August, and I haven't seen any discussion at all with details of an 
implementation that was decided on. I'm searching on the keywork "override" 
so should I look for something else to find these detailed discussions?
