I build the debs with the default versions of everything.  Currently, for
unstable, this is gcc 3.3.1 and Qt 3.2.1 (modulo Debian modifications).

There was one version of gcc in unstable which had a bug which affected
(broke) mythtv, but it has been fixed for some time now.
