That's exactly what I'm doing and why I ask the question. Apparently
renaming works for PVR-x50 files but doesn't for DVB generated files.
The .nuv files can't be simply MPEG-2 files lke the PVR-x50 files. They
must include more info which confuses WMP and mplayer.
