However, in the US, according to hauppauge the DVB cards, though they 
use the North American broadcast standard, DishNetworks and Direct TV 
have a propreitary encryption which isn't supported by the common 
interface option with thoose cards. (Boy would that be nice to be able 
to chuck the dish receiver in the closet)
