Tip #1: Any program you really want to watch, record on your ReplayTV
as well!
Tip #2: Put a really big antenna on your roof if you're at all distant
from your local DTV broadcast towers

The good news is the driver is written & done; it simply provides an
ATSC stream through a file descriptor. All the work being discussed
here is within the MythTV application(s). The one place where the
driver could use some help (evidently) is in playing nice with other
tuner cards in the same system.

Buy the card, get it working, pull down MythTV's CVS, and get to work!
Try out stuff; if something's busted, fix it and send in a patch. Use
the list to coordinate work and ask questions about how stuff should be
done. Also follow the forums over at pchdtv.com.

We're getting really close. You will need to do some manual editing of
your channel database to receive HDTV stations. You can successfully
watch HDTV programs live, and time-delay them, so long as you have a
strong signal. There are occasional problems and/or crashes which make
things somewhat unreliable. Also, we have no HDTV-specific guide data,
so if there's a mismatch between a local station's HD and analog
broadcasts, you will have to do manual recordings.
