I don't have time to help you with the installation stuff, no, and I
can't promise anything at all. That was my point.

Apart from getting DVB to work with MythTV *at all*.... ? No. ;-P

That I run out of steam? I don't know. But somebody else might pick up,
then, in a few months.

If it doesn't work with MythTV, you can always use another software,
like VDR.

Interesting.

You don't need to tell *me* that. Note the "(my personal opinion is
vastly different.)" ;-).

(Frankly, I think that if they are so nice to voluntarily send their
channels over the air (encrypted or not) *to me*, then I am free to
decode it (if I can) and use it however I like. They are basically
trying to restrict me using the light and air/waves. Ridiculous.)

If you have access to free, unencrypted channels, yes. I think.

I am not an expert in DVB. I don't know that much more than you can find
on an average site or two about DVB. Most of the questions you ask are
outside the realm of my work.

Yes. But it also depends on your provider - maybe they are braindead
enough to superimpose it on the video stream.

Correct, and I don't plan to implement it.

>Does this type of card support PiP without having two cards? I've got a vague memory of you writing that sometime, pointing out that the only thing stopping that is that MythTV doesn't know about it. Is that true? Would that also mean that multiple recordings and watching at the same time would be possible?

I can't say more than I did already.

No.
