[mythtv] Popup choices

Just something I've been thinking of and thinking of coding.

How does this sound?

Use a button on the remote to bring up a popup menu (slides on nicely or just appears).
The menu has different choices based on where you are (context sensitive).

In viewing recorded shows it could have: Delete, Rename, etc.
In live tv mode it could have: Closed captioning on/off, Record Now, EPG, etc.
In music mode it could have the standard music choices. (appears over the visualizations)
In slideshow mode it can have the slideshow button, time adjustments, etc.

That way you don't need as menu individual keys for those of us that have run out of keys on their remotes.
You need one more called "menu" :-) but then you don't need a lot of the others mapped on
the remote since things will be in the menu.

I've played a bit using a virtual keyboard to do this trying to figure out if it was
worth it.

What do you guys think? Is there an easy way to do this system wide? or is the virtual keyboard
the best since it will easyish to make it independent of the existing code?

Cheers,
Mike
