I can live with distortion. It's the squishing I have a problem with
;-).
I don't see why the resolution really comes into it. In all the UI code
I've ever written in the past (admittedly, its not for the PC) the only
time I'd expect it to squish is if the horizontal width is insufficient
to contain the target data. This clearly isn't the case at 1280x1024.
Perhaps I'm missing your point? I would personally expect the channel
text (far left hand side) to be displayed in its entirety (no squishing)
and then the width of the boxes to represent the various durations to
scale accordingly?
Perhaps I'm being too picky? ;-)
