[mythtv] Motion detection idea.

Hi,
I remember some time back there was mention of the possibility of motion
detection for getting some signal of somebody at the front door?
Can't just remember what came of it, though.

Apologies if this has been suggested before (or is even possible now - I
have had a look through the archives), but it would be really cool for
MythTV to start recording for a pre-set amount of time, on nominated tuners,
between a certain time period (while prearranged recording is not in
progress) when motion has been detected. That would add some kind of
security functionality for when you're not at home. That way, you could
stick a webcam on a tuner card's alternative (non-tuner) input and have it
monitored.

Any comments, constructive I mean ;)  ?
