[mythtv] Core dump in CVS

I bit the bullet today and upgraded my main machine to last nights
CVS (with my lock patch), its working ok except for an occasional core dump 
while playing TV.  Sometimes it seems related to scaning in the ringbuf,
othertimes its just playing.   This one was just watching, not
doing any movements.

I have a core file, here is the backtrace.  I can include the whole
core if you need...
