I built a version of mythtv cvs 2 less the last 2 commits as of June 4 05:00
UTC using gcc-323. While everything compiled ok, running the code was a
different matter. As soon as I tried to watch a pre-recorded program or
watch live tv, the machine that was running mythfrontend appeared to hang in
X. I guess it hadn't really hung but grabbed both CPUs and pegged them out.
I wasn't able to check this out as I didn't have the means to telnet in and
see what was going on. I just rebuilt with gcc-322 with the last 2 commits
and everything is fine again.
I'm just mentioning this incase there is some underlying issue with gcc-323.
I've used it for a couple of other programs and not noticed anything out of
the ordinary.
