This looked a bit different than the patch I was having success with, so 
I just wanted to mention that  CVS seems to be working great for me now 
as far as watching while recording.

I also wanted to mention that setting usepre = 18 in 
NuppelVideoPlayer.cpp has done wonders for the minor jitters I was seeing.
