	Not without pissing off the other half of people who can't stand a dead 
interface (without feedback) while they load 25 gigs of songs and 10 gigs of 
playlists.

	You could decrease the timer interval (waiting_for_playlists_timer to, say, 
10 or something).

	Over the slightly medium term I'll put that stuff in its own thread ... not 
until mythDVD is useable though.
