I'll add aspect ratio changes in a bit.  I've just committed that patch, along 
with code to properly resize the OSD/fonts when things change.

I removed the code in dvbrecorder.cpp that was skipping writing packets at 
times..  More I looked at it, the more I figured it couldn't be doing the 
right thing.
