[mythtv] MythWeb/playback potential?

Or the web client having access to the backend.  If by
file://, MythWeb
would have to know the mount point.  If the backend
runs a web server, http
can be used. 

I wonder whether
http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divfix.html would
be of
value.  It's GPL and both sources and a perl version
are included.  It's
intended for making partially downloaded avi files
playable.  It does this
by stripping all but the index data and then
rebuilding the index that's
required at the end of an avi.  Of course, this choice
of format means the
backend can't stream to the viewer.
