[mythtv] MythWeb/playback potential?

If I have followed discussions correctly, .nuv files areMPEG4 or MJPEG streams with some extra header info and someone is working onmeans for efficient (without transcoding) playback on PCs.

 

For those who are stuck with Windows on some of theirmachines, enabling a Windows PC to play .nuv files, and the simple addition ofa link on the MythWeb #8220;recorded programs#8221; page  to the file onthe backend would make an acceptable Windows front end.

 

Am I off base?
