Sure are few:
-Not stable.
-Nothing to fill edit/database (although I'm working on this, so soon that
will be solved).
-VDR works.
-DVB support is incomplete without CI, AC3, subtitling, Radio, EPG, etc etc.

Sometimes all of this discourages me for working on it. I can only provide
my 2 cents on the project but not the whole thing. However while thinking on
it I just think thet although we are a few, we should do because:

-Starting from the next year, Analog broadcasters will be forced to switch
to DVB by law (at least within the EU). So MythTV is dead if is not able to
handle this "mutation" in a mid term. It's expected that in a half dozen of
years the process should be completed.
-VDR has already many users. If provides good support DVB, should have also.
I do think that potentially the number users are doubled as a minimum, if
not more.
-MythTV has still better support for Analog, and xv, VDR fits better for
full featured cards. Anyway I would like to see MythTV supporting onboard
tv-out also.
etc etc....

Thus certainly, if there are HDTV PCI cards for linux usable for na
users....

should I now answer this? ;-)

many thanks
