Did you try following the steps in section 5.3?
  - Removing old libexpat
  - Installing a newer version.

Subject: [mythtv] perl redhat 8.0 error??

I finally got my linux box online and am trying to
compile XMLTV and got this error:
------------------------------------------------------

did not return a t

I am a newbie and i am lost here.. any help is
appreciated.

I believe it is the part of the how too:

--------------------------------
Install the xmltv prerequisites:

$ su
# perl -MCPAN -e shell
cpan> install XML::Twig
cpan> install Date::Manip
Date::Manip is up to date.
cpan> install LWP
cpan> install XML::Writer
cpan> exit

-------------------
when i type install XML::Twig it fails.

also section 4.0- 4.3 of how to is confusing...

If i am using redhat 8.0 do i just do section 4.1
under redhat, or do i do 4.2 and 4.3?????

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
