[mythtv] Re: How does this setup sound?

I too have one of these cards, ok 2 of these cards,
the 404 WinTV PCI, the the FM version.  Both with remotes, and the
remotes will work with LIRC.  But honestly, the remotes are pretty
cheezy and hardly worth the batteries in them.  I'm ordering a
external serial receiver that I hope will work with a programmable
universal remote I have.  

The Haug remotes have so few buttons, its hard to get even the
basic functions with a button, with the Sony universal remote I hope
to use, I'll easily have plenty of logical buttons for every function
I could ever want.
