[mythtv] Modprobe

I am trying to use GATOS with the ATI AIW 8500DV. When I try and modprobe 
videodev, I recieve errors saying no such device and possible IO/IRQ 
parameters. In addition to that, when I type dmesg, there are statements 
that "video_dev: unable to get upper 81". Can anyone offer some advice/help on 
fixing the conflict/problem. Thank You.
