[mythtv] Annoying bug

I noticed a slightly annoying bug yesterday. If the bttv drivers, or 
whatever you happen to use for v4l, are not loaded, mythbackend goes 
into a loop that just keeps allocating memory until 100% of your RAM and 
swap space are full( this was a total of 1.5GB for ). I noticed other 
people talking about a similar problem, but they just seemed to be low 
on memory. I have not investigated this yet, but hopefully I can come up 
with a patch within the next few days.
