Yah, I had the same problem. Try using "Key space CurrentWindow", it
works for me.

Too bad I cant get my remote to work with space, in the lirc file it 
said  KP_Space but it doesnt seem to work. But I think it would be more 
straightforward if all the mythprograms worked the same way.
