I backed up to the 04-feb CVS and this problem went away. Also, looks like someone on the mythtv-users list *may* have the same problem (http://www.gossamer-threads.com/archive/MythTV_C2/Users_F11/X_using_way_too_much_CPU_P51176), with some additional info. -Joe C.
