[mythtv] Multiple capture cards/settings

Isaac or Bruce or Matthew or whoever might be in the know,

Are there plans to implement per-card profiles in the future?  As in 
mythfrontend->tv->setup->recording profiles:

/dev/v4l/video0
  Default
  LiveTV
/dev/v4l/video1
  Default
  LiveTV

Or something similar?  Is this how it is envisioned along with a setup option 
of choosing which v4l device to use for live-tv, and a per-recording option 
of which v4l device you'd like to use?

Or will it be like it is now, with a per profile option of which v4l device 
the profile is meant to be used with, and then a per-recording option of 
which profile you'd like to use?
