Interesting. If this works, I'd say that avformatdecoder
(MpegPreProcessPacket) should also be changed to fall back to sequence
markers if GOP markers aren't found. That should restore full
functionality for these streams. Or maybe it should be using sequence
markers for everything anyway?
I'll have to look at some of my recordings to see where they have
sequence markers. I, too, will probably not have time to look at this
until Saturday.
